CompTIA has created a variety of resources that can be used to help MSPs market themselves and other channel companies in innovative ways. It’s never been more important to find a new way to communicate your message or your services. It is more important than ever that you market your company in innovative and new ways. It’s all about finding a new way to communicate your message to prospects, especially with little (if any) interaction between businesses and customers.
CompTIA has put together a list of resources that will help you get started or direct you to help. CompTIA’s “The Sound of a Cyber Crime”, a video that shows hackers how easy it can do real damage to a company, and how easy it can be to prevent employees from using the right tools and strategies to teach them proper IT security practices.
“Cyber threats are on the rise, and so do the means by which bad guys try to get in. It is crucial that managed service providers have the marketing information and tools they need to convince customers that security risks are real and dangerous to organizations of any size,” said MJ Shoer (executive director of The CompTIA Information Sharing and Analysis Organization, ISAO) and founder and CEO of MJ Shoer LLC. “MSPs can share The Sound of a Cyber Crime’ with their clients and prospects to start a serious conversation about cybersecurity and how to protect yourself against cyber threats.”
CompTIA members have the option to post the video to their social media accounts. They can use the content to highlight security threats and offer solutions to reduce the risk, Shoer stated.
Here are some additional resources MSPs can use to keep customer conversations moving, even virtually, in addition to the “Cyber Crime” video.
