Amazon Web Services Inc. (AWS), has enhanced its three-day developer training classes. This includes support for more programming languages and coverage of AWS services that are dev-oriented.
AWS executive Mike Stroh wrote in a blog post Friday, “Whether you’re moving apps to AWS or creating cloud-specific applications, this course can teach you how to use AWS SDK to create secure and scalable cloud applications that tap into the full power of AWS.”
Stroh stated that most of the updates to the Developing on AWS courses reflect feedback from developers who have taken training offered at different locations by different vendors including AWS.
Stroh stated that developers who work in the eight practice labs have access to more programming languages, including Java and C#/.NET, Python and JavaScript (for Node.js browser) on both Windows and Linux. The course covers topics such as setting up credentials and using the AWS SDK for interaction with AWS services. It also includes data stores such Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) or Amazon DynamoDB.
