You’ll use chat more often if you are a Microsoft Teams user to communicate with your colleagues. Instead of checking whether someone is available, you can choose to be notified when they are online. To do this, click the “…” icon next to the name of the chat member and choose Notify when they are available.
It can be quite isolating to work from home. Respond immediately to any post in your chat channel. Even if it’s an emoji. If they said something to you in person, wouldn’t you not ignore them?
