The new storage limit is an increase of 32 TiB and is available for Provisioned SSD storage types and General Purpose SSD storage types. - Amazon RDS MySQL Supports Password Validation. “You can now enforce password policy in your Amazon RDS MySQL databases using MySQL validate_password plugin. This plugin allows you to define minimum password lengths, required characters, and other rules that will improve the security of your databases. Password validation is available on RDS database instances that run MySQL versions 5.6 to 5.7 and 8.0. The parameters are set in the DB parameter group.
